Paralysis
Paralysis is the loss of muscle movement in the body. Most of the time, paralysis occurs is because of the nerves problem affect the brain could not control the muscle. The central nervous system and sensory nerves is to control the sense of movement. If the nervous system had been disturbed or it is blocked, it will affect our muscle movement.
Paralysis can occur only at one side of our body or maybe both sides. Some of the patients only occur at the lower half of the body or maybe at the left or at the right side. Paralysis can causes by nerve injury, stroke and others disease that will attack nervous system. Stroke will cause a sudden paralysis. Other than that, exposure under toxins will also cause paralysis.
Types of Paralysis
- Monoplegia – Cerebral palsy will cause Monoplegia paralysis. It affected the arm, leg or maybe on face.
- Hemiplegia – Most common cause of Hemiplegia is stroke or spinal cord injury. It will affect one side of body or arm or leg.
- Paraplegia – Spinal cord injury will cause paraplegia paralysis also. Paraplegia is affect thoracic, lumbar, or sacral regions but not include the arm.
- Diplegia – Cerebral Palsy in children cause diplegia. Diplegia paralysis is only will occur in children. Diplegia Paralysis will affect either on leg, arm, facial or other part of body.
- Quadriplegia – Quadriplegia also calledTetraplegia. Normally, patient who diagnosed with quadriplegia paralysis have loss movement in all limbs.
Paralysis Treatment
That is several ways to treat paralysis but I am more recommended to use acupuncture to treat paralysis. The reason of using acupuncture to treat paralysis is because that is no bad side effect will come to you after the treatment started.
